Dominic Hurni (b. 1997, Basel, Switzerland) is a visual artist based in Sissach.

With a background in mechanical prototyping, he follows a constant urge to create. Across painting, sculpture, experimental mixed media, and tattooing. His practice is raw and intuitive, a way to silence the mind and translate inner states into form. In painting, he explores fragmented, cubist-inspired faces that reflect the inner layers of his own psyche. Sculptures grow from layered, machine-influenced processes refined by hand, combining organic and mechanical elements. He often does not fully understand his works while creating them; clarity emerges only after time, reflection, and observation. Across all media, Hurni experiments freely, seeking intensity, presence, and the transformation of the invisible into tangible experience.
